New FHANA Board Member
As most of you must have heard, one of our own members here in Ontario, Jack VanderKooy, has been voted by the FHANA members, including all of us, to be a FHANA board member. It is great that majority of the mostly American Friesian horse owners have chosen our Canadian friend Jack to represent us on the board. We believe that Jack is the type of person who will do a great job in the Board and we have faith that he will bring awareness to the board about us Canadians. We are thrilled that we will have some ears on the Board, and hope to work very closely with Jack as the Ontario Board to further our relationship with FHANA. So our Congratulations goes out to Jack and his family, and we wish him the best in all the meetings. At the up coming general meeting we will formally congratulate him. We also wish our members joining the VanderKooys on their trip to the General Meeting of FHANA a safe journey, as Jack starts his term. We as the Ontario Friesian Horse Association are very lucky to have a man like Jack to represent us.
