November 11-15, 2009 was a great time for the OFHA at the Royal Ag. Winter Fair. For the first two days we had Rianne Boukje from T&T Friesians on display, and for the last three days we had Teade from the Hellema family.
Riders Lisanne Vander Kooi and Angela Hellema showed their respective horses twice daily in the Spirit of the Horse ring. Lisanne also took part in a few Wind Rider Challenge demonstrations showing the great versatility of the breed. Angela took Teade into the Sunday afternoon horse show as part of the Parade of Breed.
The demonstrations showing the great dressage ability of the Friesian drew much enthusiasm from spectators at the OFHA booth. Our booth featuring the FHANA displays and a DVD featuring scenes from club activities over the past two years and footage from the Witteveen Friesians promotional video.
The OFHA Board wishes to extend thanks to the riders and volunteers that helped throughout the five days to make this event a great success.
